Employer role pages carry more weight than recycled job-board listings; neither establishes that someone has been hired. This document distinguishes four evidence states:
| Evidence state | How to interpret it |
|---|---|
| Listed on an employer’s current jobs board | Evidence of an advertised requirement at the research cut-off; approval, recruitment progress and eventual hiring remain unknown |
| Accessible employer vacancy page | Useful responsibility and pay evidence; the page’s presence alone does not confirm active recruitment |
| Employer advert reproduced elsewhere | Useful when the original wording is visible, but confirm status and compensation with the employer |
| Closed vacancy or existing team directory | Evidence of organisational responsibilities, not a current opening or new expenditure |
The research searched employer careers sites, recruitment platforms, salary sources, company announcements, industry reporting and podcast/video discovery. No interview recording was used to substantiate a hiring or salary claim. This is a targeted sample, not a vacancy census or a time series.
European roles are included because their responsibilities illuminate relevant publishing and supplier workflows. An overseas vacancy does not establish a US customer mandate. Roles involving real-money infrastructure or general casual games are labelled adjacent rather than counted as direct demo-content demand.
