Scope a shortlist

09Scorecard

What should be retained after the decision?

Keep a reproducible decision pack. The proposed minimum is:

  • [ ] Frozen requirements, priorities, weights and acceptance thresholds.
  • [ ] Gate register with clauses, reviewer, status and permitted scope.
  • [ ] Catalogue reconciliation, including excluded and unknown records.
  • [ ] All 40 checks marked P, F or U, with evidence references.
  • [ ] Test environment, timestamps, attempts, failures and measurement limitations.
  • [ ] Twelve-month cost model and stress cases.
  • [ ] Remediation actions with owner, deadline and retest condition.
  • [ ] Approved game/domain/audience scope and a content-disabling procedure.
  • [ ] Review triggers for rights changes, new domains, new promotional mechanics, tracking changes and integration releases.

For an unimplemented plan, retain a provisional design score and an evidence-acquisition plan. Keep intended controls separate from implemented controls. Do not convert “we will add monitoring” into a passed operational check.

The final approval should be expressible in one sentence:

Approve this named content scope on these properties for this audience, using this integration version, because the permission gates and mandatory tests passed, the weighted score and evidence completeness meet the agreed thresholds, and the remaining actions have accountable owners.

If the sentence cannot be completed without ambiguity, the next step is clarification or a narrower launch—not a more favourable score.
